Meeting February 20th, 2012

Posted on Feb 20 2012 - 9:40pm

Today we had elections for the Order of the Arrow. Mr. Owens said that if you want to know who was elected, then go to the Spring Camporee! Also, today we had a skill instruction about what to bring on a backpacking trip by Walter Kahrs. We learned what to bring, such as beef jerky, and what to not bring, like a tub of pretzel sticks with peanut butter. Today, we also had a uniform inspection and everyone passed except for Lightning. :'(

SUMMER CAMP 2012 (JUNE 17-23 and JULY 22-28, 2012)

SUMMER CAMP 2012 (JUNE 17-23 and JULY 22-28, 2012)

It's hard to believe, but it is time to start thinking about Summer Camp.  In fact, the first Troop payment is due to Council next week.  There will be a sign up sheet at next week's Troop meeting and throughout the month of February.  Please sign up if you have any thought of going this year.  We can make adjustments as we near the registration date, but we need to get our payment in by Feb. 1st.
I will have information about merit badge classes being offered, and other activities, as soon as they become available - sometime around March 5th.
Our online registration date is April 3rd for the first week and April 4th for the second, so all requests for classes and activities will be due March 22, but the sooner the better.  You will be given reminders as we get closer to that date.

Yours in Scouting,

Mr. Owens
